Sarah Mansfield
BRIDAL TAILORING SPECIALIST
Sarah has been in the bridal industry since graduating from college with a degree in Apparel Design from Bassist College in 1992. Being from California, Sarah’s original dream was to become a bikini designer, but after her internship, and getting her first job out of college with a bridal designer, her swimwear dreams became a thing of the past. Sarah worked in California for 4 years before moving to Portland in 1996. She started doing alterations for local bridal shops, and quickly moved to custom design, having her own line of wedding dresses for many years before closing up shop in 2008 to focus on her children. Sarah has been working with Julia for the better part or 18 years, first with Julia working as her intern. While Sarah was taking time off with her children, Julia was busy building her business, Silhouette, where Sarah has been happily working for the last 12 years. We are like family around here!
